Principal
Gordon Reese started REESE CAPITAL ADVISORS, INC in the late 80s in Southern Calif. Initially, the firm was a combination brokerage and syndication company as Gordon had opened the Newport Beach Office of Marcus and Millichap Inc. in 1981. The company continued in this manner thru the '90s and 2000s. After that period, the company changed entities from a C Corporation format to an LLC format and exclusively became a REAL ESTATE SYNDICATION FIRM.
I am pleased to announce that Gordon Reese, Senior Vice President Investments of the Newport Beach office, has reached his 25th anniversary with Marcus & Millichap.
Acquisitions/Sr. V.P. of Real Estate Investments
Frank Betourne of REESE CAPITAL ADVISORS, INC. brings many years of experience in the National and Southern California multi-family marketplace. Frank has been involved in numerous real estate transactions, but his primary focus is the larger Institutional market. Frank started his career as an Apartment Adviser for the Nationally recognized Investment Firm of Marcus & Millichap located in Newport Beach, California. Frank works with Gordon Reese, specializing in Multi-Family Syndication sourcing for new potential acquisitions and dispositions for the San Diego and Arizona Markets.
Frank grew up in Northern California and attended California State University-Chico and The University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business during his professional real estate career in Southern California. Frank resides in Corona Del Mar and Park City, UT.

As a multifamily specialist, Troy proudly guides his clients toward their long-term investment goals by utilizing his prior experience as a member of Marcus & Millichap San Diego’s top team, as well as his studies of the local and national multifamily markets.
Troy graduated with a degree in business administration with an emphasis on real estate from the University of San Diego, where he played college football.
As part of the Reese Capital Advisor’s team, Troy proudly provides his clients with personalized service dedicated to ensuring successful and smooth transactions.

Having over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, I've made a concerted effort to expose myself to every facet of the industry. I'm grateful for the opportunity of having worked for a large commercial real estate brokerage firm, affordable housing investment firm, and presently for the nation's leading commercial real estate lender.
My career began as a commercial real estate agent for the brokerage firm, Marcus & Millichap ("M&M"). In this role I represented buyer and sellers of both apartment buildings and medical office buildings. During my early days at M&M I was honored to win the firm’s prestigious "Pacesetter Award," bestowed upon agents who achieve various sales goals and high activity levels at the start of their career. Many valuable lessons and skills were learned during my time at M&M, and I am forever humbled for that journey.
Years later I was honored by the opportunity to join the nation's #1 lender, JPMorgan Chase & Co. ("Chase Bank") as a VP, Senior Client Associate. Currently I focus on providing customers with competitive lending solutions for five-plus unit apartment buildings, with term financing ranging from $500,000 to $25M. We pride ourselves on personalized service, flexible prepay options, and most importantly competitive rates and low fees. What's most rewarding about working at Chase is the ability to participate in enhancing our clients' lending experience, while also cultivating valuable relationships along the way.
Acquisitions
Sheil recently joined REESE CAPITAL ADVISORS; before joining, Sheil spent 11 years with Marcus & Millchap in the Newport Beach office as a senior agent specializing in multi-family brokerage. Sheil started his career in commercial real estate in 2009 during one of the most significant recessions of our generation. His strong work ethic allowed him to build and cultivate lifelong relationships while facilitating numerous multi-family transactions, hospitality, and land development. Sheil is known for his meticulous approach to evaluating a property, uncovering hidden value, and producing innovative strategies to maximize asset worth. In this new hospitality venture, part of his role will be specializing in SRO conversions. Sheil is a skillful problem solver that values relationships while consistently exceeding clients' expectations.
Sheil is a graduate of California State University Fullerton with a Finance degree concentrated in Real Estate. He lives in the Orange County area with his wife of 5 years and their two young boys, Noah and Elijah. Sheil loves to play tennis during his free time and travel to any place where his family can enjoy the outdoors.
Fund Raising
Dave graduated from the Univ. of Missouri and began his business career at the Xerox Corporation in Denver, Colorado. He ranked No. 1 in the U.S. for sales of his specific product type. After several award-winning years with Xerox, Dave left and began his Real Estate Career with a local Denver Syndicator specializing in raw land. Dave was instrumental in raising millions of dollars for the various partnerships. When economic conditions in Denver soured, Dave moved on to the real estate brokerage firm Marcus and Millichap, Inc. in the Denver, Colorado office. Dave thus began a 20 year plus career with the firm. Dave ranked in the top 10 nationally in fee generation on three separate occasions. In the 90s, Dave moved from the Marcus and Millichap Denver office to the Newport Beach, Calif. office. After a few years, Dave moved on to join a local boutique mortgage banking firm. Here Dave specialized in lender/developer joint venture acquisitions. Today, Dave invests in Southern Calif. multi-family projects and fundraising for REESE CAPITAL ADVISORS Multi-Family syndications.
Property Management
Pan American has been a fixture in the Southern Calif. professional property management business for approx. 40 years. Geographically they cover all Southern Calif. in the following sectors: Multi-Family, retail, industrial, and office. Over the past 40 years, they have been involved in the Multi-Family industry as an investor and a property manager. Operating on both sides of the aisle gives them an owner/investor perspective and simply the property management platform, which is the case with most professional management companies. Pan American has earned the following designations; CPM (certified property manager) and AMO (accredited management organization). Pan America has its primary in-house staff, ideal for smaller apt complexes. On the Tech side, they are state of the art, with all managed complexes having specialized management software and computers. Pan American oversees' s most of the rehab on RCA's various projects in addition to handling all the rent collection and bill/pref payments. Gordon Reese, the principal at RCA, has over a 30-year relationship with the firm as both an investor and apt owner. Pan American's Corporate offices are located in Tustin, Calif.
